ABOUT
Hi I'm Caitlin Rafters and I am passionate content creator as well as lifestyle and travel photographer. I studied Digital Photography and Imaging at Georgian College for two years. I was rewarded 3rd place for my images at the 2018 Georgian College Print Show, 2nd place at the 2018 Skills Ontario Competition in Toronto and 1st place at the 2019 Georgian College Print Show. I have an eye to capture images that spark feeling, that speak to you and are perfected for what is trying to be displayed. OUR STORY
My passion for photography started in 2017 I started to travel the world. I started travel blogs and youtube vlogs, pictures, etc. I was sharing the world with others who have not seen these places. Working on many vlogs to give people information of currency, transportation, hotels, hotspots etc. Hoping to encourage others to travel by giving information and recommendations of excursions, hotels, restaurants, etc.
When turning home I decided to take it to the next level. I started school for photography to ensure I had a better knowledge on creating professional and meaningful images. Throughout schooling I found a passion for content creation, to add to my travel photography. After graduation I started Roaming Rafters and began working with clients such as property managers, real estate agents, restaurant owners and small businesses.
I put my heart and soul into everything I do. From travel photography and videography, photo journalism to portraiture and content creating. I am an international freelance photographer, documenting the worlds beauty and capturing beautiful moments and businesses. I believe it is important to capture every beautiful place as it is.
Photographs are thumbnails to the memories in your brain. It has grown into a love for capturing thumbnails of your memories, special occasions, milestones and creating content for your businesses. I love showing the world through my lens.
